Pie Magazine
Welcome to the official webpage for the magazine, PIE, a new irreverant sixth form magazine.
So, what is Pie?
Well, besides it being the tastiest and most delicious form of British food on the planet, Pie is also a magazine that is based in Salisbury, UK. It is written completely by Sixth Formers about anything they might be interested in, with the odd contribution from a parent. Unlike most sixth form magazines, this isn't a news letter all about school. No, no, no. This is a magazine where young, aspiring journalists (or people with keen interests) spur out their opinions in reviews, articles and laughable pages such as our very own Dating Help page! (By the way, to take advice from this page is up to you! xD)
Want to write for Pie?
Good, we need you! All we ask is that you've read atleast the first issue (which is free and a PDF download is available below) and that you can make a deadline for your article to be submitted to print. At current, an article should be submitted to editor@pie-magazine.co.uk by the 9th of each month to be published on the 1st of the following month. For example, if you submitted an article on 9th September, it would be published in the 1st October issue.
Where can I get my Pie magazine?
Pie currently has a printing circulation of 100 copies per issue. These issues (except the first one which is free) are sold by hand for £1.50 each. 50p of each print copy will go to a selected charity (Issue 2's charity is Cancer Research UK). If you want a print copy, they are available in the Salisbury area, you can get them from me via a by-hand sale. If you'd like a posted print copy, then please e-mail us at editor@pie-magazine.co.uk. Depending on where you live, there may be a delivery charge as we use 1st Class Recorded deliveries.
If you'd simply like a PDF copy e-mailed to you each month, then you can click the subscribe button below. The cost per month is only 50p. The reason being is that a PDF file discludes our printing costs. No money from the PDF-Subscription goes to charity.
The first issue is free - click here to download your complimentary copy (in PDF).
